Bats on the Bayou.

The Waugh Street Bat Bridge is home to Texas’ second-largest bat colony. Watch more than 250,000 Mexican Free-Tailed Bats emerge around sunset to hunt for dinner. Learn how they sleep, what they eat, how much they eat, and how they contribute to Houston’s ecosystem on one of the Buffalo Bayou Partnerships’ cruises to the bridge from March through October.
